First saw him when he was a general practitioner. Missed him terribly when he went back to ob/gyn school. But then he came back and I had a fibroid that cut off my urinary tract and needed an emergency hysterectomy a week before Christmas. Now that I need to see an ob/gyn again so so sad he retired.
He’s the BEST!
Good Doctor but doesn’t understand PCOS and from what i have experienced here in Reno not a lot of Gynos do. I went to him to get cont’d care for my Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and he didn’t seem to really know anything about it. Before, i lived in the San Francisco Bay Area and was seeing a really good doctor there that understood the condition and was treating me successfully with low dose BC as hormone therapy and all i need was to find another doctor to continue me on that treatment plan. Dr Pollock takes time , doesn't rush and answers all questions
So sad he retired . He is an awesome dr Judging from his great reviews Id have to say the one person that rated him a one star must have been a difficult patient to work with
Do not go see this man. He was rough, callous, ignored an allergy I have, dropped a vial of lidocaine and numbed me up to yank on my cervix and uterus without much warning which was completely unnecessary. He should retire. Completely outdated advice and knowledge. What a joke.
I hope he never retires because I don't want to go to anyone else.
I'm waiting to hear back from his office to schedule my hysterectomy, and while I wish that part was faster, I'm really relieved to have found a doctor I feel safe with.
