Have been with Associated Bank since the 1990s and have always been happy. Recently my checking account was hacked and then frozen. In the meantime my paycheck was deposited and I do not have access to it. It seems to me since the hacking dispute was filed before my paycheck was deposited I should have access to it. I cannot even get someone to tell me what is going on or when I can access my paycheck. "10 days" the response with no other infor given. Really, this is not acceptable. My sister and I share an account. We also have our own personal accounts. As I went to view our statements from our shared account, my sister's personal account is on the shared statement account. I chated with customer service online, and they said they cannot change this. I am able to view how much money my sister has in her personal account, how much was with drawn, how much deposited, her full account number. This bank has horrible (and I mean HORRIBLE) customer service within their loan department. When dealing with an insurance issue you might as well kiss your time, money and life away. They do not care about helping their customers, just protecting themselves. This is the epitome of horrible people running a business.

Associated bank of Wisconsin has been nothing but a nightmare of a financial institution since I've begun banking with them 3 years ago. In those short three years I've noticed that they will take their dear sweet time to process your transactions, deposits, and transfers. They charge your accounts for everything, service, maintainance, overdrafts, especially overdrafts. Claim to not charge an overdraft fee unless your account is already overdrawn and another transaction is processed after the fact. But it's really easy to c... read more
