STAY AWAY FROM HERE! I have been a patient of AO for over five years, and while the care has been good, I recently had an extremely disappointing experience dealing with the front desk. During several phone calls regarding billing issues, I encountered rude and unprofessional behavior that is completely unacceptable. I’ve come to the conclusion that I have lost my respect and trust in the doctors as well. They seem to order numerous unnecessary tests. I've been going to Dr Shepps at Associate Ophthalmologists for over 20 yrs and can't say enough about how much I trust them with caring for my vision. Everyone there is a real professional!

Gerald Shepps, MD I came to Dr. Shepps with large dense cateracts. My mobility and personal independence was severely impaired, as both eyes were affected. Several years ago I was seeing floaters and went to see Dr. Wallis. After examining me he immediately sent me over to a Retina Specialist because upon examining me, he found that I had a detached retina. Thanks to his thorough examination I was able to be treated immediately and thankfully my vision was saved. Since then I have referred many people to AO including my 86 year old mother. I highly recommend this office for any eye issues or general eye exams!!
