We used Assisting Hands after I had major back surgery. They sent an aide in to our home for 14 days. The aides cleaned, cooked, did laundry, helped me get around, walked our dogs, and most importantly made sure I was safe so my wife could feel comfortable going to work. I HIGHLY recommend Assisting Hands. And a big shout-out to Conchetta (one of the aides) who really went above and beyond in caring for me.
I'm sure the company has good intentions and is a reputable organization. However, during my orientation session yesterday, I experienced a mix of positive and negative interactions. The office staff, including receptionists and administrative personnel, were very kind, polite, and welcoming, which made a good initial impression. My 91 year old mother has utilized their services twice. Kendra and Danielle were her caretakers. She was very pleased with each one and will use them as needed in the future. Amber the receptionist is always so delightful and helpful also!
Assisting Hands Home Care has been wonderful from day one. Sharon came to meet my mother-in-law who was needing in home care. Sharon took the time to answer every question/concern. She was promptly able to pair my mother in law with Jayden who has been outstanding. Jayden is reliable, so kind and is doing a great job meeting the needs of my mother-in-law.
