After my husband’s stroke we reached out to Assisting Hands of Fremont due to their affiliation with the VA. Within 6 weeks, our caregiver had stolen thousands of dollars from us. She used his ATM card to withdraw $4000, used several credit cards, as well as bank account info to send herself money via Zelle. We filed a police report immediately after discovering the fraudulent transactions and she has been charged with 3 separate felonies for elder financial abuse. Assisting Hands Home Care was great. They were able to find help for my mom within days of me calling them. My mom’s caregiver, Abby, was amazing. She drove mom to her various appointments and to the grocery too. She also helped with household chores. Mom loved having her in her home. Jay Mehta, the owner was also very flexible with scheduling. Call Assisted Hands if you need home care. You won’t disappointed.
