Rude and unfriendly people run this place
I have had a brief experience with another home care agency in the area that was not very satisfactory. Assisted Care at Home was suggested by a nurse practitioner saying that a certain surgeon insisted on them because they had such good outcomes. Very easy to see why. We had physical therapy occupational therapy, and a registered nurse. They were all extremely professional and knowledgeable. I just want people to know how absolutely wonderful the team Assisted Care at Home sent to me for help with my mother. Karen, Shelly and Ken were great! They treated my mother with respect and tenderness. They kept me completely informed of the process, what they were doing and their recommendations. In fact they made sure that I was doing alright. I would recommend This agency and in particular Karen, Shelly and Ken.
I have been extremely unfortunate in being caught under VA care and ended up so II had to depend on Homecare for survival. Wat a nightmare-(between 3 agencies )and that’s coming from a Marine My advice is PLEASE do your research whether for yourself or a loved one. Everyone knows that Health (??) is beyond ridiculous in America and care in your home is no exception. This company has recently gone through management changes so there’s hope.
