I have a family member in Assisted Living of Orem (formerly Purple Chair). I originally expressed an interest in this facility because it was so convenient to my home, allowing for frequent visitation. I showed up unannounced one day and was greeted warmly and shown around the entire facility. I had a lot of questions which were answered by the staff. I am a pre-nursing college student at UVU in Orem. I worked here while going to school both last year and this. I moved during the summer and returned to this facility to find it was completely different. The environment now is absolutely amazing! I feel like I'm part of a family. Management is wonderful to work with and I can tell they really care about each resident and us as workers. Definitely a place worth checking out!
I have worked serveral shifts here and it is a wonderful place to be. The employees are kind and are very diligent about caring for the residents. Ever since the new management has taken over in April and weeded our problem employees it’s like a brand new facility.
The staff are all wonderful! Audrey the Resident Care Coordinator is amazing! I know when I have concerns regarding my Home Health or Hospice patients she is quick to respond and she helps to resolve the issues at hand. Definetly a fun loving facility. - Symbii HH & H CNA
I have been here at Assisted Living of Orem as a resident almost 7 months. The atmosphere was cold at first then some nurses resigned and other employees quit and new management took over. The place change over night to a warm inviting place to live. The Spirit was so much better. I would highly recommend to everyone.
