We agreed on a monthly payment plan of $400 a month for my outstanding medical bills from a hospital visit. After three monthly payments that were all made as agreed and on time I was able to get payment from my health insurance company and paid off over $4900 in one month. They then attempted to collect the remaining $268 the next month and said that I was late paying. Asset Systems, Inc. (dba Asset Systems of Washington) has violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and keeps harassing me and my family for debt that I have not acknowledged. Asset Systems, Inc. is potentially a scam collection agency and fake collection agency. Asset Systems is currently being investigated and has been reported to the Washington State Attorney General office and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

A person named Michael called me pretending to be a process server. When I asked why I was suposedly being served he said: "Oh! You don't know!? I will give you a phone number to call." The funny thing is that the number he gave me for the suposed collection agent was the number he called me on in the first place. I played along to see where it was going and he made threats of legal action if I didn't give him a large sum immediatly. He had a woman pretend to be his assistant. This is clearly a scam. The people in this company are rude, unprofessional and uneducated... It is a shame for the United States Constitution and civil right, in general. All they care is the money, money, money!!! No respect, no understaning, no human feeling or conscience, just solid rock instead of human heart.. It is a shame we have in our society such " bloodsuckers", really is...
