I've been stopping in here for years, not sure why it says permanently closed, I was happy it was open today as I was running on fumes. Always a lively conversation when you stop here. Best pizza in town too!
We were on our way home from Texas to Nebraska and were "on fumes" when we pulled into Assaria (because google told us it was the closest gas station). It was about 7 pm at night and the station should have been closed but the owners Mom was still there (although she was getting into her car to leave). We asked if it was possible for us to fill up and she kindly shut off her car, went back into the store, let us fill-up, and sent us off with "safe travels, hope you make it back home ok.". I'm not there often but son is and shouts out that it is a great place for tires too!... good service.. and something to drink as well as great conversation!! One of our farmer friends and their families need prayers right now.. Lets all join in and pray for zach Short and his family!
Great service Fair prices. Good place for all the old rednecks in the community to gather and tell lies !
