RecommendedDate night and wanted to try something different. We sat outside just before dusk, it was a cool and clear night. We were alone, no one else outside and no traffic since it was the last weekend in August. We decided to share a few small plates plus split an entree’. We had the octopus and scallops. Perfectly cooked. We also split the squid ink injected linguine with crab. Homemade pasta was again cooked to perfection. Assaggi is Italian seafood done just right.
I’m changing my review Bc it’s just not the same. Not the service and not the food. It is awful.

We love Italian and wanted something a bit more upscale for our anniversary. Assaggi osteria filled the bill. Quiet, lovely service and terrific food. Excellent crab bruschetta. I had a tuna, olive, and squid ink pasta that was perfectly balanced. Hubby had a lamb dish he loved. They acknowledged our anniversary with a comp bubbly and a Roman Candle size candle in our dessert. Excellent evening!
