Frustrated and very broke I am with this insurance. I've had lab work for my anemia, an iron transfusion, and doctors visits and I got a bill over $5500 because they refuse to cover. Not to mention the crazy deductible that they claim I haven't met since a year and a half ago. Also their costumer service staff are mean, careless and nasty!. DO EVERYTHING TO AVOID ASR!!!! My dad has a diagnosis that requires a daily chemotherapy pill and ASR refuses to pay a penny. They also will not even entertain the thought of a peer to peer review with the hospital system, or any appeal process. The only thing worse than their coverage is their customer service. You’d be better off having no insurance than you are with ASR.
Absolutely AWFUL health insurance! Never ever recommend them to anyone. They don't help with anything! I would give them 0 stars if I could! Better off having NO insurance!
