Asplundh showed up to trim along the Xcel lines today. I’m glad I was home otherwise I think the outcome could’ve been worse. I have a 50-year old ash tree near the rear property line where the utilities are located. I never would’ve planted a tree that close; however, it’s my job to care for it and it provides my house with late day shade. The tree leans AWAY from the lines. Xcel power needed limbs cut back from power lines, that's fine, but common courtesy for the homeowner was a little sketchy! Did not expect to look out the front window and see the front yard transformed into someone's vaca spot, at 10:30am! Posted pic on their website! Get to work!!
Your company is far from expert. Your team was at my home this week and butchered my trees. You are nothing more than a company with a truck and a saw. Appalling! I cannot communicate with the people as they do not speak English. Asplundh is bad news. Not even worth 1 star.
Two years ago, this company came on our property and did excessive trimming on a massive old willow tree. When I discovered what was happening, I sat beneath the tree to guard it while they worked so that they wouldn't trim the tree any more than they already had. This year when the project manager came and told me that they would be on our property again, I walked the full length of our 9 acre property to show him the tree that is sacred to us.
