I have a friend who said Asplundh took over the contract for power company in Ohio. In January, forced her to sign a refusal form. She never refused. In April, the employee had her sign contract for removal of small trees and brush. As she drove past her property, 12 large, beautiful living, green trees were marked with big red X s. She called and was told this meant they would be cut. She would pay for removal. She walked the property and took a video. Some trees were 30 plus feet from power lines and pole. It only took Indiana & Michigan power (AEP) a little more than a year and a half to cut down 4 trees that had been marked for removal when the previous owner lived here. They contracted with Asplundh who took down the first 3 in 3 days, cleaned up the limb mess very nicely and left the cut stuff in nice manageable pieces. I even gave your crew 2 spots to dump their mulch so they didn't have to drive away to go dump and come back. Then they got to #4, it was very large. Asplundh was cutting trees back from powerlines for Duke Energy. Before the tree was cut on my property I called and spoke with the general foreman Cole Adams at 828-448-7147 about trimming the limbs back on my tree. I explain I did not want my tree butcher and damn if they didn't come in while I was at work and cut the whole damn center out of my tree when my tree was not even under the fucking power lines. Audit week.
Working on trees all around my neighborhood now.. Leaving everything and making trees unsafe. I work with Arborist and these are not Arborist they are butcher's! They are not tree experts!
Terrible tree service. They do work for a pipeline company and have no respect for people's property. They cleared off a perfectly good tree that wasn't near the pipeline and left a mess in the yard. They left huge grooves in my yard that need to be fixed. I informed the pipeline company that they are banned from my yard..
