Rhinelander Aspirus Hospital ER really needs to step up their ER procedures and evaluate their time frames for getting test results faster. Having a plan to treat certain test that you know only have certain treatments etc. Leaving patients laying in bed 45 mins or more without communicating what is happening is unacceptable! I had a relative admitted at 1:30 pm to the ER. Was discharged at 9:30. They didn't even ask if he wanted a glass of water! This institution is extremely disappointing to say the least!
This place should be shut down. I can only hope the staff at the ER should have to experience the same treatment mentally they gave my daughter who was very ill when I brought her in. The eye rolls and non professional non supporting attitude over a medical emergency, they basically shoved her out the door and said others are sicker than her. She is now hospitalized in a caring hospital awaiting a life threatening procedure. Thank god I wheeled her out of there and traveled to a different health care system. Thanks so much s... read more
Big empty building. Everyone working there is over worked and under paid. It's a Cathedral of incompetence and death.
After getting ultrasound of my heart asked the person after she was done if she called to let them know, she wouldn't give me a direct answer but finally she said that they will be here but after waiting for awhile I called to see how much longer before they are going to arrive, the dispatcher said that they NEVER no one called so id asked for them to send someone to come and pick me up, 🤷 . .. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The ONLY thing that didn’t absolutely suck were my 2 nurses Mary and Evan. I am a type one diabetic and had to literally beg all day for my long acting insulin. My blood sugar was 500 by the time Dr sing approved me to get the insulin I was asking for for for 18 hours. They tried to feed me dinner with a blood sugar of 500. I have never felt more unsafe. Doctor sing should be seriously looked into. This is medical negligence and I will be further reaching out.
