I was sent to Antigo after Stevens Point Aspirus physician refused to take me saying I didn't need to be hospitalized despite meeting all criteria for sepsis. That was very poor judgement on his/her part. Thank God for the amazing physicians at plover aspirus ER for not giving up and finding a place for me! Antigo accepted me right away and upon arrival I was greeted by amazing staff and Dr Snider shortly after. Horrible!!!!! How can higher educated people lack severely with common sense and common courtesy??? Especially the president of Aspirus that wanted to take a verbal survey as my husband was dealing with breathing issues making speaking challenging — needing emergency heart surgery. Nurse Aide Carmella (Antigo) was supposed to assist my husband and she’s on her personal cellphone! Not the work phone, her personal phone! I took a pic of her on it!!! Who the hell does that? Because of my parent's significant health issues, we have had a great deal of experience with Aspirus ER, urgent care, hospital and clinic in Antigo over the past 2+ years. Our experience with all of them has always been excellent. Everyone, from the people at the front desk and nurses aids to the nurses, ambulance drivers and doctors gave great care.
