I broke my ankle and went to the Aspirus Iron River ER for treatment. I was in and out in around an hour! This included xrays and a temporary cast being applied to my ankle. Everyone from the kind and helpful receptionist to the doctor and nurses provided excellent care. I was so impressed and thankful for this quick and compassionate treatment.
My experience with Dr. Mathew German during my recent ER visit was very disappointing. While I was explaining my symptoms, he showed little compassion and walked out of the room before I finished speaking. In a stressful situation like an ER visit, patients deserve to feel heard and treated with empathy.
