I highly recommend this practice. I am incredibly grateful for the support I have received from my counselor; she is both kind and effective. The overall atmosphere is calming and the staff welcoming.
Avoid at all costs unless you like being traumatized by your therapist. They’ll claim to care about you, but will happily leave you in crisis after dropping you as a client with little guidance on what to do next, and then call the police on you multiple times to make it even worse. They don’t know how to treat their clients with any humanity or know what actually helps people in crisis.
