Wow. I had my first appointment with Dr. Deborah Ikhena-Abel today. I am so impressed and grateful that I found her/Aspire. Everyone my husband and I encountered was absolutely lovely, from the front desk staff to the nurses and everyone in-between. Before my appointment, I had some questions so I reached out via the patient portal. Every response I received was quick, kind, and helpful. Sadly, this clinic is definitely in it for the money. I understand this is a fertility clinic, but all the OBGYN offices I've been to in the past were pretty good at responding to messages in regards to lab results. Here at Aspire, they require you to have a visit (in person or virtual) to discuss results - despite it just being 1 marker that is not within normal boundaries. Don’t go here! They bill incorrectly and charge you astronomically for things they ran your insurance and told you we’re covered. The doctors are young and not super knowledgeable especially around specialty issues - autoimmune, pcos etc. go anywhere else!
I do not recommend Aspire Fertility. We didn’t have a great experience from the start. My husband couldn’t get into the online system with the temporary password he received and they make a big deal out of submitting your paperwork within the first week even if your appointment is months out so that was frustrating. I competed the paperwork to give them permission to obtain my medical records yet a good portion of the first appointment was trying to share prior results with the doctor when I had no reception because for some... read more
