I'm not sure what is going on here recently but the place has gone downhill fast...
My mom has been at Doon a little over a week. I will be candid that her transition has been tough. She suffers from anxiety. This is a huge change for her. Doon is great in so many ways but the challenges for my mom is why Doon has exceeded my expectations. Every staff member has gone out of their way to be supportive. They take it very seriously. We recently had a tour of the facility with Cassidy. She was wonderful and answered all of our questions. We are excited for our parent to have the opportunity to reside here!
We just had a tour with the very sweet Cassidy. She is passionate about the care of seniors, and I suspect that she is a reflection of all the staff. We are hoping that our aunt will be accepted to the home.
