I haven't used their services but I wanted to mention that on Monday 4/13 I was stopped at crum road at stauffer road in Walkersville and watched an awesome man get out of his Aspen Tree Company truck with his hazards on to pick up a large turtle trying to cross the road and helped the big fella out. There's something to be said about a busy man who stops to help our most vulnerable creatures and if they care this much about turtles imagine how much they care about their work on your trees. Do NOT get ANY services from Aspen Tree! My neighbor had a bunch of trees removed from his property. I made Aspen aware that they were on our property, however; Aspen refused to acknowledge my concerns and cut 5 of our trees down! They also knocked over 2 of our trees and left some of the neighbors cut trees, as well as our trees, on our property for us to clean-up ourselves. We have used Aspen Tree Co. for several jobs on our semi wooded property. Recently they took down an enormous oak that was dying on our property. It was a very complex tree to take down. One other reputable tree co just wasn't interested in taking the job due to how hard it was. There is a septic drain field, a fire-pit with flagstone seating area, and wooden playhouse all very close. Everything is within 10-30 feet away with a few open holes where the wood could go.
