We really enjoyed our time at aspen & meursault. We tried a couple of glasses of wine. The server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly giving us a great explanation on the wines and helping to tailor to our palate. We enjoyed the cheese and charcuterie board that we had alongside the wines. The atmosphere was also lovely and very quiet on the Tuesday night.
Our server, who I believe was fairly new, was warm, attentive, and clearly trying his best. He just hadn’t yet been trained on some of the basics - for instance, he wasn’t sure how to handle a carafe. When we asked if we could simply keep it on the table ourselves, the manager stepped in, took the carafe away, and said flatly, “No, we don’t do this here,” without any real explanation or acknowledgment. Amazing experience and spot for wine tasting. Tatiana was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, gracious and very funny!!
Tatiana was lovely - great atmosphere and still attracted a decent crowd for a tuesday. Would highly reccomend.
