Update: This has been going on for 2 years and not getting better. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Our building has had oriental cockroaches (water bugs) for two years now, probably way longer. Nobody disclosed to us there was an infestation before we moved in, only told they come out when it rains which is absolutely false. I find roaches every morning even though we keep our unit clean. I first moved here in 2015 and the move in process was seamless and easy. I went from a 2 bedroom to 3 bedroom. When I moved out a year ago, I knew that if I wanted to come back, I could and would. So I did when things changed at the place I moved into. I'm so glad to be back at Aspen Hill. The staff is wonderful, the community is clean, and I feel good about living here.
I would give zero stars if I was able to. We have been here for 2 years and cannot wait to leave on November 30. For a 650 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment, the rent increased by $55/mo over 2 years from $1,050/mo to $1,105/mo with another $30/mo increased proposed as of December 1. They cannot say that it is due to increased maintenance costs either. Maintenance is a joke-they are supposed to replace batteries in smoke detectors and change HVAC filters twice per year, once in spring and once in fall, but they only did it here rece... read more
