Good place for fire places

My husband and I live in Florida and recently purchased a cabin in Blue Ridge, GA which we are currently using as a STR on VRBO. Our Handyman was at the cabin 2 days before Christmas getting things ready for our guests to check in on Christmas Eve. When he checked the fireplace he noticed that the smoke was backing up into the cabin and suggested we try and get someone out to check it.
