Perfect shaded escape and trailhead!We had an amazing afternoon at the Aspen Glen Picnic Area! The area is completely surrounded by massive, towering pine trees that offer excellent shade, keeping it nice and cool even during midday warm weather.The picnic benches are well-spaced out, and having individual charcoal BBQs right at the sites made it super easy to grill lunch. Someone needs to say something This place used to be so nice. Now every time tourists come they cover the place in trash. A Whole family of 6 will park next to road when they leave there will be 6 bags from taco bell on the ground. But all the cars do this.... They have BBQ pits but they will just leave their trash everywhere!!! There's a couple trash cans but they can't handle 100 people showing up doing this and it definitely doesn't matter if they just leave it on the ground anyways I walk my dogs here everyday I'm sick o... read more
