Not enough parking and Park attendant was stressed out and rude. I waited in traffic 20mins to turn into the parking as people were leaving yet I was told I could not enter and I had to leave because I was blocking traffic on the freeway. I explained that the street was not a freeway and was inline for the 20mins where the people in front of me did the exact same thing. I took my daughter somewhere else to enjoy the snow as this area was over crowded with an unfair and rude attendant.
Great space for sledding in winter but parking is limited and gets too busy specially on weekends after a storm
This Aspen Glen Picnic area is a beautiful spot surrounded by tall pine trees that provide plenty of shade. It’s a peaceful place to relax, with several picnic tables scattered throughout the grove. I’ve visited a few times in both fall and winter, and fall is definitely my favorite, the weather is much more comfortable for me.
