Under the new management, my experience at this property has become unacceptable. Dumpsters were relocated directly outside my bedroom window, causing an increase in insects, stray animals, strong odors, and overall unhealthy living conditions. When I reported this, management extended my fence without notifying me — despite knowing I have a dog and despite a sign on my fence stating “dog in yard.” Because the fence was left open, my dog could have easily run into the street. I second Jelli’s review. New management took over March 24 with a paper notice the day of. Communication was horrible starting with David. He wasn’t trust worthy. I moved out April 30 and I didn’t get my refund for my deposit until July 17. legally the property has to return your refund within 30 days of notice. Martha dropped the ball and didn’t complete my move out before she was transferred back to another complex, so I had to keep calling weekly and sometimes 2-3 times a week to follow up on my refund. Update: I’ve reached out to the office twice now, I went to the office and one lady told me management was allowing me to break my lease, I asked for documentation and they won’t provide. The Second Lady I spoke to offered to move us to a different unit but then come back and say they don’t have anything! Please be aware of this complex. We didn’t have roaches until management switched, the property is not maintained as well as previous management. My daughter has a half of heart and a very weak immune system. My girlfriend and I moved in not too long ago and everything has been great so far. We were very interested in this community and it wouldn't have happened without the help of David and Martha. It's a very quiet and perfect little community for anyone to come and live here. We really enjoy our yard and the look of the apartments are very nice and remind of a small house rather than an apartment. It's a really neat place and I'm very glad we chose Aspen Forest.
