I’m a visiting pilot from Ohio and wanted to take advantage of a vacation in the Aspen area to get some real Colorado mountain flying experience. Aspen Flight Academy was incredibly accommodating and made the entire experience easy to arrange. I flew with Trevor Fredrickson, CFII, and the experience was excellent. Couldn’t recommend Aspen Flight Academy enough! I just earned my Private Pilot License today, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the amazing instructors, training, and support along the way. Such a great place to learn to fly! They also have amazing opportunities through the local high schools and for people of all ages in the valley and beyond.
I had a great mountain flight with Riley during my summer trip to Aspen. The school is a great way for visiting pilots to get mountain flying experience and cross off a bucket list airport. If you’re visiting from out of town, check it out.
I'd like to thank Flight Academy for sharing mountain-flying knowledge with me, a pilot with 25 years of experience on the East Coast. This was an incredible experience with excellent instruction from Trevvor. I was able to see many 14,000-foot peaks and land at Leadville, the highest airport in North America.
