Had my first dentist appointment a week ago but it was a really good experience. The staff is amazing
I am new to this area and had no dentist yet. Yesterday s crown in the front of my mouth fell out. I called and was given an appointment in the afternoon. I was so impressed with the welcoming and caring personalities of the staff across the board. That meant so much to me since I lived through horrific dental experiences in the past. I met Danny at Aspen Dental. It was my first visit and I picked him out of a book from Humana. Danny is a dental Hygienist and exceedingly good, kind encouraging and gentle with his patience. Even walking down the hall he Points out things in the hallway that may trip you up. In my 79 years of going to the dentist there have been many good hygienist and doctors along the way but this is the first time I did not require anesthesia for a cleaning. Got me in the same day for a tooth I chipped at lunch and it looks better than it did before :)
On Wednesday, I set an appointment for 2:30pm on June 13th. I arrived to my appointment only to be told by the office manager that the person in charge of handling new patient appointments is always gone by this time, even though they close at 5 When I asked why a 2:30 appointment would be made for me if it would never be able to be handled regardless, I was told that they "like to get patients into the system, and handle the details later" Apparently, they tried calling me multiple times on Saturday to reschedule my appoint... read more
