Not going to the dentist for over 12 years because of having a bad experience then I broke my teeth and the team here has been nothing but kind patient and understand toward the needs of my dental hygiene I will come to Hanover every appt to keep this care. They told me back in January I had a progressed form of periodontal disease and that I had a huge infection, and that I needed antibiotics and a root planing/deep cleaning. They wanted to charge me 1400$ and put me on antibiotics. I’ve never even had a cavity so something seemed fishy. I got a second opinion at a family dentistry office and not ONLY do I NOT have periodontal disease, only a SMALL section of my mouth needed cleaned, I did not have progressed bone loss or infection and I DID NOT need antibiotics. I was referred to an endodontist for evaluation of a cracked tooth and possibly needing a root canal. I selected Aspen dental and was pleased that I could get an appointment in just a couple of days which was nice because I was in pain. Oddly enough, my dental office did not share the x-rays they had taken with aspen dental so I provided them because they were on my phone however, they still needed to take a couple of x-rays to verify what was going on with my tooth.
