I had an interesting experience this past Saturday at Aspen Dental. During check-in, my insurance was not acknowledged, and I was initially quoted $324 for my visit. When I asked for clarification, I was told that amount included fluoride treatment, though I understood fluoride to typically cost around $50. After my appointment, I chose the take-home fluoride option; however, the office manager informed me that I would still be charged the same amount as the in-office fluoride treatment.
