Great doctor. Listens to her patients. She always acts in my best interest.
Dr. Askew is intelligent, friendly, and thorough. She spends a lot of time getting to know your medical history and any changes since your last visit. Often the wait is a little long, but well worth it once you see her. My wife and I have been with her since we moved to Beavercreek in 2003, and we have been, as you can see from our rating, highly satisfied with our physician, and would recommend her to anyone wanting a very knowledgeable and friendly primary care doctor.
We (my wife and I) have been with Dr. Askew for 16 years now. She is very knowledgeable and extremely patient-friendly. She is so well-liked that she may not be taking new patients at this time, but get on a waiting list if you can! Wewould not think of changing primary care physicians.
Expect to wait in the public waiting room AT LEAST 45 minutes AFTER your scheduled time, then another 15 to 30 minutes in the individual waiting room before talking with the nurse. This is based on 3 separate appts at or before 9am. The only good part of the visit experience is that she is intelligent once you're seeing the doctor... IF you can stand the hour+ wait cooling your heels.
