1 Star Review Terrible company with zero accountability from corporate leadership. After putting down a $7,500 earnest deposit, I was misled by their sales team, denied key documents, and ignored by management. Even after escalating to their VPs and President, no one cared or responded to resolve the issue. Be careful at closing. I’ve been forced to pay taxes owed for the year before I owned the house. I contacted their closing agent and they said I was issued a credit for those taxes. But they used my credit to pay closing costs Ashton woods had agreed to pay in the contract. They agreed to pay up to $11570. They only paid $6700 and stuck me with over $1000 on taxes for the period BEFORE I bought the house. I emailed their complaint address and they never responded. We bought a home built by Ashton Woods. I am very disappointed in the quality and craftsmanship of the home. A lot of things started falling apart and breaking within a couple of years. The subcontractors they use are terrible. The ceiling in one of the rooms came apart which was missed by the inspector. The carpet wasn’t installed correctly and is coming up in all the rooms. The kitchen drawers are breaking, an appliance broke. Horrible
I am in the process of purchasing a home in Sachse TX with Aria Estates by Ashton Woods. July 17th, I had a third party inspection done. Inspector found a crack in garage floor foundation that starts at the house and expends to the end of driveway. Report was submitted to project manager Joao Spier. My client walked through the models located in Maricopa, AZ last month as they were in town for the day from California. They were just looking and did not even have their home on the market yet. They gathered some information and went on their way.
