I will not be taking any of my computers back to this guy. I took him a laptop with a bad DC input jack. In order to get the thing charging you had to jiggle the cord end at the input sight. I am not a computer technician but come on, common sense right?? All he had to do was open it up and solder a new one on. Instead he told me it was the power cord. When asked he said that he did in fact open the computer up though. I did as he advised and bought an OEM replacment power cord. Low and behold I had the same issue. I could , as with the old cord, jiggle it to make a good connection. Took the computer back and he claimed that the end of the new cord was not long enough to make contact with the Jack! His solution was to trim the black plastic away from the end to make it longer! Well there was no resolve to the issue. He wanted another \$75 bucks to open the computer "again" and replace the input jack. I told him no thanks. He will never get any of my, nor any of my family or friends business.

Jim is one of those people who goes above and beyond. His systems are well designed and built (and tested) and if he does not have the part you are looking for he can get it in and most likely save you some money. He does custom builds and a variety of fixes, etc. and his skills are well rounded to handle the issues. A great place to find your next system. /lm
