Would not recommend her. She body shamed me even though I’m big boned. Find someone else who doesn’t body shame you and is considerate of your health needs and looks out for the best possible options for you long term!
Had Dr Muhr for a number of years, she seemed to change negatively over time. Very matter of fact and disinterested in my care.?I think she was suffering from burn out. I hope she’s happy at her new practice.
Dr. Muhr had been my pcp for about a year now and I feel like I hit the jackpot for doctors. She’s so kind and great at explaining your care. I’m so confused by the bad reviews. Every time I walk out of her office I feel better than when I arrived. She’s very personable. I highly recommend her, especially for females. She feels like a friend as well as a doctor.
If you ask questions, she seems insulted. We should be allowed to ask questions about our care. I ended up changing providers because she became very short fused over time. Don't waste your time with her. Plenty of other, more kind, providers out there.
I had been seeing Muhr for the past 10 years. She even managed the care of a few of my family members, based on my suggestion. I watched her change from a caring, kind, detail orientated provider to one whose most common response is a visibly frustrated "I can't help you with that." I get it... specialists are required for just about everything now, but- she just brushes you aside as though you wasted her time. When she prescribed me an inhaler and I inquisitively asked about it, she became argumentative and rude. The appointment was very rushed after her demeanor changed. When I answered her questions she became condescending and acted like I was supposed to know something that I couldn't have known. Very simply put, she used to be caring and considerate, now she has very little patience and a short fuse. Don't ask her any questions or she will think you are trying to argue!
Dr Muhr is not very detail oriented, or professional. My Experience - The doctor was unable to properly write a 30 day prescription of medication. The dates were all wrong on the prescriptions. I had to call the physician's office and walgreens to try work it out. When I called the physicians office and complained because 2 of the 3 prescriptions had the wrong date. The physicians nurse acted like "What are you going to do about it???" I found a new doctor.
Dr. Muhr is very attentive and thorough. She is personable, easy to talk to and a good listener. Easy to schedule. She follows up with other doctors caring for patient. She is competent and follows through with referrals.
Dr. Muhr is very friendly and was very helpful with my diagnosed. She's always in a good mood. One of the bet doctors I have ever seen.
