Dr. Barks is amazing. She is straight and to the point about your issues and what she can do to fix them. She explains everything in detail and tells you what to expect after surgery. She did an amazing job on my back surgery and her and her team were there all during the recovery process. I would definitely recommend her.
Dr Barks did a surgery on my daughter for her seizures put in a new battery pack for her Vns. I thought she new what she was doing. But my daughter was experiencing problems an kept telling me something was wrong. She as a surgeon is jus they're for the money not the care of her patients. Because they forgot to turn it on. As we know seizures of any kind are not good. She's lived with this her whole life so when she tells me something isn't right I listen. This could have caused a lot of issues to her health. Facility staff were wonderful, but I will not return to her personally.
Here we are with another edit to my review. What a rollercoaster ride. 7 weeks post operation, experiencing symptoms related to my back and REFERRED TO MY FAMILY DOCTOR. I wish I had never trusted these people to help me. Another sleepless night in excruciating pain.
Beware if you intend to have surgery. If you are still experiencing issues after 6 weeks post op, you will be referred back to your family doctor. My wife had surgery and can barely walk at times, they have repeatedly dismissed her.
