I haven't required any medical attention yet except my neurologist who is fantastic. My Primary Dr left the practice, but he recommended a Dr to take his place. But I could never get threw to sign up with her. Now I'm stuck with a Dr I know nothing about. I may be looking elsewhere perhaps in another practice to get who I want.
I like Dr. Dani because he exhausts conservative treatments first. Have partially controlled epilepsy that improved dramatically with weight loss (plant-based diet). My epilepsy has improved dramatically!
Yes I would recommend Dr. Dani to my family. He is knowledgeable, understanding, listens to you and doesn't rush you out of his office.
I saw Dr. Dani for four years. He "missed" diagnosed my MS, and he blamed my worst episode on low BP. He also missed a new lesion on my brain stem -- whether he didn't see it, or didn't spend the time to look at my scans, I do not know. What finally got me to change doctors was when he said a new lesion was small and insignificant. It was this lesion that was causing myriad, severe, symptoms -- though he might not have fully understood what those symptoms were b/c he usually interrupted me.
I have been seeing Dr. Dani for over 2 years for a motor vehicle accident and left his office today in tears. After seeking a second opinion from a top NY/NJ neurologist, I returned to Dani to ask him about further testing the other neurologist thought I needed. He proceeeded to spend the next 45 minutes standing up, interrupting me, and yelling that I am no longer his problem, I can see a different neurologist and he will not be doing “someone else’s job”
Dr. Dani did not listen attentively to my problem. Told me I needed an MRI and muscle relaxer medication and nothing was called into insurance provider. I saw him for second opinion and was only interested in previous doctor's report. So no medical care was given for a disabling condition. Thanks doc.
Dr. Dani was terrific during my MS diagnosis, then the longer I continued to see him, the less he listened to my concerns or answered my questions.
