Unfortunately, my stepmom’s opinion of my dad’s doctor was true. Dr Holst lacks compassion and bed side manner and I saw first hand of her attitude, which was smug and uncaring without a trace of a smile. I could share more of what happened yesterday as my dad’s primary care doctor did not primarily care about him. As a primary care doctor, Dr Holst consistently takes the time to sit with her patients, listening carefully our concerns. She clearly explains the treatment options in simple terms, answer all questions patiently. Her treatment of patients ensures they feel supported throughout the process.

I scheduled an appointment looking to establish care with a provider in the area. Between all of the people in my life that depend on me, I completely forgot about my appointment. When I called, all I was told was their policy does not allow them to do anything and I can’t be seen. I would have been fine with paying a fee for the no show, but it sounds like this provider did not work out for good reason.
