Wildridge’s HOA is a cesspool of 2, unqualified Ashlar employees (finance controller and the office manager) and 1 resident. They have a penchant for arbitrary rules/regulations and selectively choose to ignore the neighborhood governing documents. Their stated mission is to “help preserve the value of your home, privacy and property values”—clearly not true based on my experience. Multiple communities with the SAME problem. Don’t sell property for homes and businesses that can’t hand the amount of homes. Power out for 6 hours during 100 degree weather on a work day when people work from home with kids home for summer?!?! Unacceptable.

Ashlar, you do build beautiful visually communities, but the lack of support from local reps to ensure current residents have basic necessities like internet set up prior to move in, or in a timely fashion post-move in, is frankly concerning. Ashlar is selling a vision of an idyllic community, but today for many of us - being able to afford this community requires the ability to work from our homes…and that requires internet connectivity. Terrible customer service. Ashlar is the developer for our neighborhood in Oak Point, TX and totally dropped the ball on getting us internet at move in. Our entire street has now gone 4 months without internet. My wife and I work exclusively from home and we’ve had to share a mobile hotspot (and we get an average of 1 bar since we’re more secluded).
