RecommendedIf your looking for a great Doctor for women's health I would highly suggest Dr. Dotson!!! I have been to many doctors and they were flat out not for me!!! when I visited him for my appointments for my pregnancy he was there with an answer to my many questions!!! My experience my entire pregnancy was absolutely exceptional. Dr.Dotson and Miranda made my pregnancy experience wonderful. Dr.Doston and the KDMC labor and delivery and mother baby units made our delivery a wonderful seamless experience. Everyone met us with kindness and answered every question and we had a lot as first time parents. Being a nurse myself I appreciated every single nurses kindness and compassion as they cared for us. Dr. Dotson performed an episiotomy on me without my consent after I specifically said I did not want one. I was completely unaware he had done it until the father told me. Dotson said nothing and the nurses said nothing. If you're unaware, most doctors refuse to do an episiotomy unless it is absolutely necessary and would rather try any other method before performing one because of the complications they cause. They're out dated and make the healing process 10x worse. He performs them routinely. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS OBGYN... read more
Doctor Dotson is by far the best doctor there is! Miranda Davis, his NP, is by far the best also! So thankful he was able to deliver my sweet baby boy! Dr. Dotson and Miranda took such good care of me and my sweet boy my whole pregnancy!💙 I wouldn’t want anyone else delivering my babies! Big shout out to King’s Daughter Labor &’ Delivery and Mother Baby Unit for making my delivery and stay such an amazing time.
I recently delivered, we had a couple scares with the baby’s heart rate dropping. Doctor Mahoney acted fast and got him delivered safely. I couldn’t thank him enough. He seen me at every appointment and checked on us a couple times a day after delivery. He’s one of the best doctors I’ve encountered at KDMC.

Love, love, love this office! I highly recommend them! In 2016 I had my daughter and placenta ruptured, Dr. Mahoney was on call at the hospital & knew exactly what was wrong. He was God sent that day! And I recently just had our sweet baby boy who was delivered by Dr. Dotson & his staff did a wonderful job! And I can’t leave out Miranda or the receptionist at the window because they are awesome & kind too! 💜💜💜
Dr. Dotson and Miranda are the best team I could ever ask for. In June of this year, I was treated for endometriosis but during my surgery and with Dr. Dotson's diligence, they discovered I had been living with chronic appendicitis and I had to have an emergency appendectomy. I am living pain free for once in a very long time and I could not be happier with the care they give me. They delivered my youngest son in 2018 and they always take my concerns seriously. Dr. Dotson is amazing, I recommend him to everyone I know! He’s so caring and kind! And Miranda is like a family member I can talk to her about anything! Don’t know how I could get through my pregnancies without them!
