Services very expensive and sometimes unnecessary. When I went in to get my rear door checks replaced, I was quoted a price that was over double the next spot I went. Additionally, they suggested a few more things to fix, including my front brakes and rotors and timing belt, and also quoted me very high prices to fix them. Ashland Automotive did a great job repairing a water pump on my van. It is a handicap vehicle and they did it quickly so I could have that Mobility.
When I noticed a grinding sound when breaking, these guys were able to fit me in to diagnose, then solve the problem. All with excellent communication and a very fair price. What more can I say?
3000 $ to replace my water pump, charging me $2000 for labor They saw that I was pregnant, a woman, and in need of a fix, so they put the maximum price. How ridiculous.
I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 just because they are friendly and I will say that it’s definitely the best waiting room I’ve ever seen in an auto shop. They definitely cater to people who broke down on the road and need emergency service. They’ll squeeze you right in and get you back in the road asap and you’ll be mostly comfortable while you wait. HOWEVER, they’ll charge you 3 to 4 times the normal rate. I paid $642 and the mechanics back home said it would have been like $250. My mechanic friend said he could have done it... read more
