My eye doctor is on vacation and Dr. Ashkanazy is covering for her. I called the office yesterday for what I thought was an emergency. Dr. Ashkanazy gave me a thorough exam, handed me a coupon for an over-the-counter medication and suggested I try that for a few days before filling a prescription for an expensive medication. I used the over-the-counter drops one time and viola!! My so called emergency is almost completely gone. I have rarely been as impressed with a doctor as I am with Dr. Ashkanazy!
I trust Dr. Ashkanazy with my eyes! Going in for cataract consultation. He's helped me in the past with serious issues.
I have gone here for about 3 years and haven’t had the best experience. The wait time is ridiculous and when I told him I was having difficulty seeing at night because of the lights he told me to just not drive… Recently I have been calling to make an appointment because I have no contacts left and I have been calling during their office hours yet it always sends me to voice mail (where it tells me the office hours) I will not be returning.
I have been Doctor Ashkanazy's patient for at least 15 years, and I've recently had 2 spectacularly successful cataract surgeries. I am extremely grateful and appreciative of the care, attention to detail, bedside manner and explaining things to me and answering all my questions, in addition to the results that I am now experiencing which are amazing.
