I went to see him for my cholesterol and my blood pressure. I was doing fine but then I stopped the cholesterol med because of the FDA warning and my blood sugar went up some. At the time there were limited options for cholesterol so I went without it, high blood sugar is worse than cholesterol. Anyways, one day I received a letter from him saying he did not want to be my doctor anymore.
I used to be a patient of Dr Kapoor for years until last year when his office overcharged me. I knew I had met my deductible and only needed to pay $25 but the front desk stated I had to pay $150-because their system was showing my family had not met the deductible. I advised the front desk lady that was incorrect and she stated I had to pay $150. Seems like they have a very young low level medical assistant skills staff, that created an issue with my insurance billing and after 8 months of there promises to rectify their mistake, consistently tell you they will get back to you and never do which has happened 3 times. There are plenty of other Dr Offices around the same area.
