Discussed doing an ICD for me with my cardiac left ventricular ejection fraction at 12%. After I expressed my paranoia about lead wires going into my heart, he discussed the option of subcutaneous ICD, which he said I was a great candidate for. He explained everything,. Procedure was done April 8th in Tyler. Happy with this decision, as it should help protect against fatal cardiac events.
