Worst place ever. Took my 76VW Westy to be painted..pulled it off the lot 1 yr later with Many parts missing...cables cut that shouldn't of been. just found out I had NO reverse lights because they were cut and never connected again. lost New windows that I personally handed to him wrapped in towels, took my hinge of the back...never to be seen again....paint miss match from front doors, sliding doors main frame. Paint was already bubbling up at the front of bus....tbrought in 2 car batteries...only got one back...terrible e... read more
I took a very rough 72 VW Bus to Tom. From the very beginning we reviewed all of the repairs needed, the cost of said repairs, and the timing for these repairs to be completed. Tom made a list of items that will need to be purchased and gave me a total in advance. At no time did he pad or add $$ to this list. I agree with how marmol. Don't take my word for it though. Go drop your precious vw off and let it sit to rot until tom needs money. He does not do great work. I worked for him for 8 months and nothing he did was slow car quality or even close. Final products were scratchy and honestly shit. I didn't think so at the time tom I was hired on to a new body shop that does good work. Go anywhere but here
Tom should not be in business, waited for my anger to subside to right a review. Where do I begin, he painted over rust that he supposedly repaired, total trash in the paint. I paid him a lot of money and all I got was total trash. Please stay away. Don't believe me, see the car for yourself and you be the judge.
The window regulator on our '71 VW bus broke on our drive down from NY. A quick call to Tom, and he assured us he could find a replacement for us that same day. We headed over to his place, and sure enough, he was able to help us. Really kind guy, and amazing collection of VW salvage parts and vehicles.
