I have been trying to get the office to fill out a form for my medication for three weeks from a company who assists me financially with a very expensive medication so I don't have the burden of paying for it. The same situation has occurred twice where the staff supposedly faxed the application back to the pharmaceutical company but apparently didn't wait to check if all the pages went through--and they didn't. The staff at Asheville Urology are pleasant professionals that attend to the patients checking in and also dealing with insurances. Dr. Burris was very kind with a compassionate disposition. He was professional and knowledgeable in explaining my reasons for the appointment. I would recommend Asheville Urology 100 percent.
I was told to be at a 10 am appointment so I come in at 930 am! I was sat there waiting and watching the waiting area being cleared out twice. I asked why I watched people come and go while I sat there, they replied your appointment wasn't till 1030 AM. I replied I was told to come I would be seen at 10AM that's why I had shown up at 930am. I work in healthcare and my patient's time is just as important as my own! This office needs to get its staff on the same page and certainly not make a patient set and watch the waiting ... read more

As a patient that is going through a very difficult time in his life I have tried so many times to get into this place I've had two referrals from major doctors the staff that answers the phone is absolutely horrible they in no way try to help you in no way do they make you feel comfortable they make you feel like complete trash. I have multiple friends and family that are patients of Asheville Urological. I would highly recommend any of the physicians as well as their Nurse Practitioner for any of your urological needs. They offer the most up to date procedures as well as many in office procedures to accommodate their patients. If you are looking for anything from a Vasectomy, prostate surgeries or a place to manage your kidney stones this would be the place !
