Got referred to Dr. Pinkston through a sports physical therapist trainer after an MRI assessment confirmed I have a circumferential right shoulder labrum tear requiring surgery. Dr Pinkston performed a single PRP treatment on the shoulder and within 6-8 weeks was able to increase my workout load to a level I was unable to before due to shoulder pain and instability. 10 week program of laser, shock therapy and PRP repaired my right knee. Wish I had found Dr. Pinkston years ago after 3 surgeries on my left knee.
What a great experience! I had a shoulder injury that I thought was beyond hope outside of the surgical realm. As soon as I met with Dr. Pinkston he gave me great alternative suggestions and a variety of pathways we could choose for treatment. I did shockwave and laser and am so much better. I can sleep through the night again and lift weights how I used to. Every staff member at the practice is delightful. I truly cannot recommend this business enough!
I have to admit that I went into this a bit skeptical. I'd had several years of pain in my hip that would wake me up at night and nothing but anti-inflammatories seemed to help. But those of course brought their own down-side. Dr. Pinkston recommended two therapies over the course of 6 weeks. By week 4 I was sleeping through the night. Now 6 weeks post-treatment I am free of pain. I highly recommend Dr. Pinkston and will not hesitate to use him again.
If you have any joint pain and you have seen an orthopedic surgent that has suggested surgery please please take a moment and make an appointment with James Pinkston. He and his entire staff are there for your well being. Dr. Pinkston will review any MRI's or x-rays you have and make a determination as the best road to recovery.
