Terrible experience. I had gone into the store to get a bike rack for my car. I made a reservation for the Kuat NV 2 Base. I offered to pay money down and reserve but was told the rack would be held. The store was going to build up the rack then call me upon completion. I got a call on Tuesday and they had completed building it up. I work in Black Mountain and was going to try to get over to pick it up later in the week. I call Friday only to find out the bike rack is gone, they've sold it. Lovely experience at Asheville Bicycle Company... knowledgeable and friendly staff... left with the perfect bike for me! Highly recommend no matter skill level, low pressure environment and fun!
These guys helped me figure out how to hook up this hand me down kids trailer and get it up and running when two other bike shops told me they couldn’t help. It was awesome and now my little girl and I are hitting the trails and loving it! There was no way we could swing buying a new one and Craig was persistent in helping to get it figured out. After visiting multiple bike shops and test driving a variety of bikes, I decided to purchase my Kona Process 134 from Asheville Bicycle Company. Not only did they have a great selection of mountain bikes as well as a nice outdoor environment for test drives from a terrain perspective, the staff were very professional and were able to answer all my questions. While visiting Asheville we were well looked after by Craig and Chad, they set us up with two Giant bikes that we rode for seven days.
