Another good spot for new bands This place is easy to get a show at. The sound folks are good (if occasionally a little snippy), but they are very efficient and careful. The bar itself is sort of small, but the area for bands is quite large. Definitely reccomended for those first shows.
Just another show space I have only been here for shows, it is a large dark space with a strange little bar. Nothing special in the way of food or drink. Have a nice drink somewhere else first. Bathrooms ar sometimes sketchy
This is a great place to go for live music, and they make one of the best margaritas in town, muddled lime and everything. Watch out, though, for the older chubby lady bartender with long blonde hair. If you’re not paying attention, she will beyond doubt try to shortchange you. Last night I gave her a $100.00 and she gave me back change for a $20.00, trying to play it off as a simple mistake. I knew different however, because this is the second time she’s made this “mistake” with me. Last time it was a fifty. I didn’t tip he... read more

Great place to have a burger and some brews – During my recent trip to Portland, I was less than impressed with the selection of bars in the downtown area, until I came across this gem. The "kick your a$$" burger was fantastic, and they had Arrogant Barstard Ale on tap which is a major plus for me. The vibe was very similar to my usual bar here in Austin, Casino El Camino. A rough around the edges neighborhood bar that you wouldn't mind hanging out in for hours on end.
A cool place to rock out every night, with a down-to-earth, low-maintenance atmosphere. – In Short Although utilitarian in appearance, this downtown joint is comfy. Mix-and-match tables and chairs litter the smoky main room. Video poker, arcade games and a lone foosball table call out for quarters. The staples of Northwest nightlife are available in bottles and on tap, even Jägermeister. An adjacent room houses an additional bar and stage with music seven nights a week. Plush booths envelope wallflowers, as the less inhibite... read more
like it – Great place to hang out-but not talk. Little more alternative and less trendy.
