My husband had a tonsillectomy on Friday with Dr. Showmaker. The surgery itself went smooth and we were happy with the process. The problem came when trying to get his prescriptions. The original pharmacy couldn’t fill his prescription for pain in the liquid form. I called another pharmacy close to us and they did have the liquid form of his pain med. Went there for a few years when Dr. Ellis was there he was great. nowadays, though they want you to schedule each appointment so they can collect each time example I had a sinus infection infection and a ear clean out that needed to be done. I called ahead of time by a week to tell him about the sinuses that had popped up since they did my surgery. Not sure how this place is still in business. Absolutely terrible communication and follow up follow through.
If you’re looking for an ENT, I highly suggest looking elsewhere. The physician I saw was kind and took time to listen, but the focus felt more on pushing procedures than solving the underlying issue. I went through two painful surgeries with no improvement. A doctor outside this practice solved the problem during my first visit vs the weeks / months I spent fighting it here through painful surgeries.
