Best bike shop in town!
Recently bought a bike at Walmart that wasn't properly assembled (loose brakes, slightly wobbly rims, loose gear shifting). Called Ascent Cycle and they booked me in 10 days later (middle of June so they were busy). I dropped off my bike 1 day before the scheduled service appointment, fully expecting it not to be ready until the next day as scheduled. Unreal service. Above and beyond doesn’t even cover it. I went in for a basic tune up and received what I would consider closer to a new outlook on life. After Evan finished dialling in my derailleur to shift smoother than butter on a slip and slide he casually asked how things were at home. I said “not great.” He nodded and handed me a multi tool. “Take this. Go home. Tighten what’s loose and not just on the bike.” I didn’t understand at the time but when I got home…. It worked. Evan went above and beyond the call of duty to repair my bike and help me get it back to tip top shape. There was no upselling, nothing but honesty and integrity. If I ever needed more work done I would look nowhere else!
