I was going to buy my second home from Pulte Homes (Ascent at Montelena)in Rancho Cordova, but a couple of my friends had a bad experience. I just visited their house, which is not even two months old, and the restroom flooded. Water was all over the house and everything was damaged. They later found out it was due to a fault in the builder’s drainage pipe. I guess I won’t be buying my second house with them. Customer service very poor, my cousin house was leaking from bathroom and went all over, house is just few months old, they ignored the problem and pushed to go through insurance.
Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend poulty homes in the near future. It feels like the focus is more on others than on supporting buyers.
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service provided by Pulte . I completed my year-end inspection in November 2025, yet I have still not received the inspection report or the maintenance services that were promised to buyers by Pulte. During the inspection, I informed David( inspector from the builder ) about an electrical issue in which the breakers frequently trip.
